strawa receives the TOP 100 seal again

Schwabhausen – Excellent innovation work: strawa Wärmetechnik GmbH has once again impressed in the 29th round of the TOP 100 competition. It has been awarded the TOP 100 seal for 2022. This award is only given to particularly innovative medium-sized companies.

At the heart of the TOP 100 innovation competition is a scientific selection process that participants have to undergo. On behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the comparison, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team examined strawa GmbH on the basis of more than 100 innovation indicators from five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success. In principle, the TOP 100 analysis deals with the question of whether a company’s innovations are merely a product of chance or whether they are systematically planned and can therefore be repeated in the future. Particular weight is given to the question of whether and how innovations and product improvements are successful on the market. “To what extent is a company geared towards innovation? How consistently do its structures pursue this goal? We examine this in TOP 100,” explains Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, Scientific Director of TOP 100. “The most innovative SMEs receive the seal. It shows that they are excellently equipped for future challenges.”

strawa Wärmetechnik GmbH is one of the top innovators for the 2nd time. As a company in the HVAC sector, the company has made a name for itself primarily in the field of distribution technology. The products and services of strawa GmbH are also becoming increasingly important in the field of control technology and fresh water and home stations.

Nothing is more exciting than innovation. And with a strong team, these can also be implemented and, above all, brought to life. Ralf Midasch, Managing Director of strawa Wärmetechnik GmbH, looks back on the last few years with pride. Not only the market launch of product innovations, but especially the internal restructuring, especially during the pandemic, were major challenges that strawa mastered with flying colors.

There will be a second reason to celebrate on June 24, when the top innovators of 2022 will come together in Frankfurt am Main for the award ceremony at the German SME Summit to receive congratulations from Ranga Yogeshwar. The science journalist has been mentoring the innovation competition for eleven years.
